I am so excited to share this wedding with you! Lindsey & I went to high school together back in Queens, so when she contacted me about coming out to photograph her upcoming wedding I was thrilled!

After everyone was ready, it was time for the first look. I LOVE when couples decide to see each other before the ceremony. It makes the schedule to the day flow a lot better and allow for more relaxed portraits.

Meet the "B" Family!! I had so much fun with them. The kids, Spencer & Celia had me cracking up the whole time!

When Sarah & Brian asked to have their photos done at the Morton Arboretum I was so excited.
Since they are getting married in Chicago next year, they preferred something very different from a city shoot. This was the perfect setting for just that. The colors were absolutely perfect, and I am so glad the weather cooperated!

I was so excited about this session. I shot Laura's cousin's wedding a couple of years ago.
I wasn't surprised when Lauren & James ended up being just as awesome as Tara & Jason! Here are a few favorites from their engagement session.
First we headed to North Avenue Beach. I love it there in the morning!
Then we headed over to the Adler Planetarium where you can see the entire Chicago skyline. So gorgeous!
This is actually the spot where James proposed.
They were on a date at Adler After Dark , and James brings her outside and gets down on one knee. So romantic!

I have been looking forward to doing a session like this since the day I found out I was having a boy. A couple of years ago, I got my husband flight lessons for his birthday and when we showed up I knew it was the perfect place to have a session for my little boy. I mean, how cool is this vintage T-6 Texan?
When we arrived for the session Alex's eyes lit up with excitement. The last time he was on a plane was a year ago, and he was too young to remember.
I just love the way these turned out. I can't wait to order some prints for his airplane themed room!
